The tourist guide "HOLIDAYS IN AMORGOS AND THE LITTLE CYCLADES" was published in August 2000 from the "AMORGOS" Publication of Antonis P. Vekris and Sons Commercial and Industrial S.A.
It is published on glossy paper, featuring 90 colored pictures with the names of the villages, beaches and sightseeings of the islands. It has got 132 pages all in Greek. Soon there will be an English publication too. It also includes five coloured maps of the islands of Amorgos, Herakleia, Schoinousa, Donousa and Koufonisia. It narrates the history of each island from the ancient times till now and describes the beauty of the villages, the sightseeings and the beaches. It also makes a point about the fairs and the lifestyle of the above islands.
There are 96 tourist companies advertised on the guide (incl. restaurants, hotels, giftshops e.t.c.) and anyone who would like to visit the islands, is certain to find a place to stay and fulfil his needs and desires.
It is a useful book both for the tourist who opts for these islands as well as for our Greek fellous who would like to get to know their homeland.
