Chora, is the capital of
the island. It is built at the centre of the island N.E. of the Profites Elias
mountain pourched between hills almost invisible for fear of the pirates who
used to be a plague for the islands.
The Cycladic architecture, the churches, the narrow paved paths with the flower
pots, all unite to give a unique colour to Chora.
It is 5 klms away from Katapola and has got 330 residents.
